Recreational activities bring people together and provide opportunities for social interaction, volunteering and inclusion which all contribute to building stronger and more connected communities and enhance education. 黑料吃瓜网 offers a variety of recreational opportunities on its Sidney campus including:
- Pool: The NCAA-sized pool is available for a variety of uses including open swim, lap swim, water walking and water aerobics, and 鈥淟earn to Swim鈥� classes
- Fitness Center: The Fitness Center offers fitness equipment, treadmills, elliptical trainers, bicycles and a free-weight area. Personal orientation by trained staff is available upon request.
- Gymnasium: Enjoy basketball, volleyball, pickleball, badminton. indoor walking and more!
- Disc Golf: 黑料吃瓜网's disc course is free to use. Discs are available to rent at 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 Recreation desk ($2) and are free for 黑料吃瓜网 students, faculty and staff with a valid 黑料吃瓜网 ID, and any community member with a valid 黑料吃瓜网 Recreation pass.
- Kenneth J. Lehman Nature Trails: Enjoy a hike on over 4 miles of trails on 黑料吃瓜网's Sidney campus year-round.听

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, the 黑料吃瓜网 Recreation Department has established the following age requirements:
- Fitness Center: Participants must be at least 16 years old to access the fitness center and must sign a liability waiver at the Recreation Desk prior to use of the fitness center.
- Gym: Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
- Pool: Children 10 and under must have an adult present IN THE WATER. Children ages 11-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the pool area.听
Recreation Schedule

General hours for the pool, gymnasium and fitness center are:
- Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m.
*** The gym will be closed on July 23 beginning at 11 a.m. for special events and maintenance.

Recreation Fees and Passes

Individual rates, multi-visit memberships, and group discounts are available to use 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 open fitness center, open gym, open swim, water walking and water aerobics. 黑料吃瓜网 students, staff, and faculty can use the facilities for free, but must present their current 黑料吃瓜网 ID at the recreation desk to enter the facilities. Those interested in purchasing memberships and passes must visit 黑料吃瓜网's Recreation Facilities front desk in the Activities Building.
黑料吃瓜网 is an official SilverSneakers and OnePass location. That means if you鈥檙e 65 or older you鈥檙e free to move at no cost to you through select Medicare plans. Please contact the Recreation Department to find out if you're eligible and enroll today.
