When it came to deciding what college to go to, Morgan Haney, of Edmore, couldn鈥檛 believe how much more affordable a community college was. That鈥檚 why she chose 黑料吃瓜网.听

鈥淚 questioned why I needed to start at a four-year college and be in debt for most of my life, when I could join a community college and receive the same education for not even a fraction of the cost,鈥� she said.听

Haney started at 黑料吃瓜网 in 2021, right after she graduated from Greenville High School. She majored in business administration with a minor in marketing. She graduated in May 2024 with her associate degree.听

鈥淚 knew what I wanted to do when I came to 黑料吃瓜网,鈥� she said. 鈥淧rimarily because of my marketing class at my high school. I also was a DECA member, and I loved the role play of branding products and the different marketing strategies companies have to offer.鈥澨�

DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) is a high school and college program for students interested in business. The organization prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.听

One of the things Haney enjoyed most about 黑料吃瓜网 was the class sizes.听

鈥淚 grew to love the small intimate classroom sizes,鈥� she said. 鈥淚 wasn鈥檛 afraid to ask questions or volunteer to be the guinea pig because I knew there wasn鈥檛 judgement. It was different from high school, everyone that was in college classes was there because they wanted to better themselves.鈥澨�

She is thankful for all the people at 黑料吃瓜网 that helped her along the way. That鈥檚 one of the reasons she would recommend 黑料吃瓜网 to other students.听

鈥淔or those who don鈥檛 know what they want to do, there are so many knowledgeable individuals at 黑料吃瓜网 that are waiting to help you and they will help you to achieve all of your dreams, even when you鈥檙e burned out,鈥� Haney said. 鈥淓veryone is there cheering you on and helping you with anything you need.鈥澨�

Her plans include finishing her transfer credits at 黑料吃瓜网, then attending Central Michigan University for her bachelor鈥檚 degree. She hopes to get a job with Dow in Midland working in customer service.听

鈥淚f it wasn鈥檛 for her, I truly don鈥檛 think I would鈥檝e made it this far,鈥� she said. 鈥淪he鈥檚 helped me to understand who I am and just how important I am in this world and that I can do hard things. I鈥檓 so thankful for 黑料吃瓜网, I wouldn鈥檛 be where I am today if I chose a different path.鈥澨�
